I’m more shocked by Lazar. I hope that’s the last we see of him as a Devil, but he’ll probably be back in another game or two, no matter what the results are.Bastian not playing? SHOCKER
Worst fourth line yetBastian not playing? SHOCKER
Anything without Lazar cannot be the worst.Worst fourth line yet
If they have to play a post elimination home game (which means things have really gone off the rails) it will be nasty. Otherwise I doubt it.People will tell me I’m either wrong or that not enough people will be there to care, but I think we’re very close to some rabid home crowds that don’t really give a shit who they boo or chant to be fired anymore. You saw how bad they got in games 2 and 3 of the 22-23 season. Add on two more consecutive playoff losses and things will get bad. And then the last Fire Lindy game in 2024.
However, we’re probably not gonna hear things get as bad or as out of control as my doomsday prediction until we’re out of a playoff spot. Maybe if it continues into this road trip then they come home to some really nasty reactions.
But I do expect a nasty ovation if we lose this one tonight. Just not an out of control one.
He looked like he was skating ok last game. Keefe should sit mercer and make a statementAnything without Lazar cannot be the worst.
We only have one capable center if that makes you feel betterSome little Canucks info for you guys.
There are lots of reports out here that there’s a significant chance if not a guaranteed one that Pettersson (F) is not going to play, alongside Hoglander.
Raty got the emergency call up, which leaves us with Suter raty bleuger and aman as our centers for this one
Demko is also confirmed to be back tonight, after lankinen was feeling sick last game.
I actually don’t mind it. Did Dowling and Foote play together much in Utica?Worst fourth line yet

Last two are home games I believe. And I think they’re even on back to back nights? If they have to play a post elimination home game (which means things have really gone off the rails) it will be nasty. Otherwise I doubt it.
Anyways…Markstrom again?
Thanks for the update. We stink too. Some little Canucks info for you guys.

It actually does thank youWe only have one capable center if that makes you feel better
They should have played him against Chicago then.
If we go 0 for 3 on this homestand, especially in regulation, the fans will erupt tonight. I think they’re gonna go after Markstrom if he’s bad. He’s built up less goodwill with this fanbase than the likes of Vitek who was here for a playoff season (this season’s results pending) and Blackwood had two good seasons here. All those guys got Bronx cheered for making saves when they were playing poorly, but I think the fans in attendance are ready to turn on everybody. Particularly the general manager.
But I do think the fans will turn on Markstrom at some point this year if we’re out of the playoffs and he doesn’t start playing well.
I mean, maybe if we get another junk time meaningless Haula goal (or whoever) before the game ends that might quiet everyone from booing.

I would boo Keefe (and Fitz) who are forcing him to play.I mean I'm not booing Markstrom tonight but that's also cause he's coming back from an injury and was playing really well before that and he clearly isn't back to 100%
My mistake.Back to back but at Boston and then at home vs Detroit to close the season out.Y
