Haula falling from a 0.5 PPG reliable 3C to a barely 0.2 PPG player has hurt this team so much. I like the guy, but that is just a direct gut punch to a team.

And it’s the 3d time this year this has happened to him. Detroit (Kane) early on - shot right through him; against San Jose was it ? Shot off his glove and in. And tonight. All games we coughed up in the final seconds.

The game winning goal was deflected of Noesen's leg/pants. Markstrom isn't the reason they lost. The Devils were lucky to get out of the 1st period being down just 1-0. He made a bunch of big stops. Blame Kovacevic , the Refs and Haula for this loss.

I was honestly more upset by the one in San Jose, where I somehow jokingly predicted a late regulation winner by one of their nobody defensemen who averages about 4-5 goals a season.

And funny enough he’s actually since been traded to Dallas.

But this one hurts a lot more because it’s getting late now. But that San Jose one was a loss to a worthless chump team that’s gonna finish with 50-something points and has had multiple 10-ish game losing streaks this year and everyone else loads up on wins against them. We couldn’t even get a point.

I won't be harsh on him there, Johnston has been on a tear lately and the skaters had the bigger f***s ups on the play. Gun to my head/being a former goalie, I agree with you but I think the Lybushkin goal and Harley goals CAN'T go in

Had it been a 3-1 loss, I would have just said they had a good effort but the self-inflicted wounds got to them. Had we fallen in OT, I would have been thrilled because of the comeback effort.

The way this unfolded in the end is just so f***ing brutal. But they have to be able to take the positives that they had tonight against one of the best teams in the league. You can't afford to dwell on how this went down. You have to move forward.

This is basically what happens every year to this team, 2022-23 being the polar opposite exception. I don’t think it’s hard to predict anymore.

It's crazy our hope of turning this team around rests on the shoulders of a guy who caused the massive issues with the team in the first place and willingly extended MacDermid for multiple years at 1.15 million.

I meant it more in the sense that he has to fix the bottom-6 before the start of next season. I'm all for making moves now.

If Fitz doesn’t fix things by Friday, he isn’t going to be here at the start of next season.

I have really grown to hate Amanda's commentary, not gonna lie.

She's taking a story out of this that didn't seem there. I watched Timos post game, he showed no signs of verge of tearing up.

Dillon seemed frustrated and maybe overwhelmed frustrated at outcome but not like she contextualized.

She went to Dillon and was "like the emotion in Timos interview." To Dillon.

I didn't see it. I see they care a lot but he wasnt on the verge of breaking down lol .

At least Dillon admitted the D was atrocious giving up stupid plays and dumb stuff at end.

mercer going down the tubes after the first two bright, promising seasons and haula turning into a pile of sludge really has soured this forward group

Our 3C is actually a 4C and our 4C is an AHL level player at this point unfortunately.

It's actually wild how much Haula has regressed.

I thought I saw that as well with Noesen deflecting the shot when he went down. I just didn't want to watch it over and over to see. The result wouldn't be any different.
