The first 15 minutes were bad, it's been mostly fine since then.

How often we get stonewalled by dudes like DeSmith makes me so pissed that like 15 different goalies couldn't manage to put together more than half a season here.

They're showing heart. This is as tough of an opponent as you could find under any circumstance. Lines thrown in a blender with only a morning skate to try and make it work. I wasn't expecting a brilliant night tonight. Couple that with losing Dougie on top of it, too.

They have to cut down on the miscues and penalties at the worst time. Dillon taking a penalty after we cut the deficit to 1 was killer even if we killed it off. Momentum was immediately lost. Then you have 2 defenders take 2 consecutive penalties to put us down 2 men.

Keep grinding guys.

We really need Gritsyuk to come in and be productive. I just hope like hell Fitz realizes we need an injection of speed in the bottom 6.

I’m comfortable penciling him in 100%. Pro veteran at this point with some wheels. Everything else is gravy. Bastian, Haula, Tatar, Mercer, Tatar…nice knowing ya.
