It’s definitely an ownership/management thing. I don’t remember it being this much of an East German presser feel back in the Lou days (though except for the last two years they were good so it wasn’t needed). But even the Isles broadcasts don’t give that vibe from the few times I catch it (Butch is a Homer, but more in the Chico vein of homerism than try to pull the wool over your face).

Bryce definitely calls a spade a spade a lot, he's just not a dick about it.

Looks like something he picked up at Señor Frogs in Nassau Bahamas

Kinda funny seeing people just now freak out and say they are playing awful this game....when they've mostly looked like this since Christmas.
But this looks different because as Keefe said Hughes has the puck on his stick so much for us, carries it and makes zone entries - without him we look quite lost as to what the game plan even is.

I was WRONG to have posted this morning that I didn't expect Fitz to make any moves for the playoffs if Jack is out. I meant he had a plan for trades but didn't plan on replacing Jack.
He has to see if he can get a rental to replace Jack if he cant play. Plus we need more offense. Can he do this, does he have the money, the players for a trade and are there any teams that want to trade with the Devils. A tall order, it will be tough, maybe impossible buI I know he is trying.

I have been reading some of these posts from Devils fans on this forum.

Please do not give up on our Devils

Tom can't survive this season.

He's a nonfactor and even if injured it would be irrelevant. Dougie is hurt though.
Thought I heard the awful announcers say Nemec was hurt. I did see Hamilton come off the ice in pain…as if we can lose one of our few sources of offense. I may watch the rest of this game on mute.

Eh, I mean it's just a different type of lost. With Jack, it's one guy dominating the puck while most of the guys aimlessly float around like traffic cones on ice.

Zone entries aren't even in the top 10 of issues with this team with or without Jack. Bratt, Timo, and Nico are all good on entries. Bigger issue is this team is incapable of dumping/retrieving the puck or cycling effectively.
