I am frustrated with the Devils; lack of consistency: effort for 60 min per game, scoring, and defense for 60 mins per game. Injuries are untimely. So Bleedred, what is going on with you?

I'm not giving up forever, but I meant I don't really care there's a game tonight. I'm giving up on the season certainly.

I expect nothing out of this season.

I mean, I think he deserves the rest of this year, but he's basically at the point where he's gonna need to probably need to cross the streams (Ghostbusters reference) to save this season. But he made this mess.

And honestly, I'm not even sure we get in with Jack. Probably would squeak in as a wild card, but would also need some help. Maybe we still squeak in, but we're gonna need a lot of help. We don't win enough. We haven't won enough since December. This is nothing new what we're seeing.

GM constructed the team and has 1 playoff berth in 4 years with the fifth being very much in question.

Why does he get more rope than the last guy who got fired after 1 playoff berth in 5 years? The last guy started out with basically nothing.

Unless you're gonna tell me this guy isn't really the one calling the shots? Maybe Marty's the real GM and Fitz is just a fall guy so that when this year goes to shit the fans aren't chanting ''FIRE MARTY!'' in the season finale because of his legendary status as a player?

1 playoff berth in 5 years usually gets you fired. Unless you're starting a rebuild and that was even enough to get the last guy fired.

And this guy has been running his mouth since the 2023 offseason about how the time is now and we're a contender, yet we're in danger of the second straight playoff miss after his one playoff season here. Really?

The top literally carried the team. The bottom six has to chip in and hasn’t.

Like what in the hell have you watched that you think the top guys are the problem when no depth means that when the top guys cool down for any stretch, which happens, no scoring will happen?

Palat sucks shouldn’t be a top six player, Mercer sucks should be traded, haula hasn’t registered one point since November (this includes the 4 nations). Noesen is a PP specialist atm.

This is absolutely on the gm that gave a lack of depth to the coach and top players to help.

Top scorers are literally, Jack, Bratt, Nico, Dougie, Timo, Noesen.

The top guys have carried the team like crazy.

I wonder if he'll go 33 games before scoring a point like Ruutu did in the 15-16 season before finally getting a point in the 2nd period of what was the final game of the season? It was only his 33rd game of that season though.

I looked it up a while ago, but I think he may have had a 40 game pointless drought, as I think his final point before that came in his 5th or 7th to last game of the season before.

Haula also didn't score a point in the 3 four nations games, and don't tell me those shouldn't count. They aren't exhibition games. Haula almost 30 NHL games without a point?
