The Devils are in a challenging position. With Jack injured in the Vegas game, I can't say that I expect a win tonight. I am also concerned about the playoffs. If Jack is out for the remainder of the season, I don't expect Fitz to do any trading to improve the team for a playoff run.

Without more info regarding Hughes's injury, I am at a loss. Have I missed any info? I am preparing for another surgery tomorrow back on my left leg again.

The team was off yesterday, all we know is that Jack flew back to NJ to be evaluated further. The beat writer indicated he was told it may not be as severe as some expected, but that is very vague for a reason.

We'll hopefully have some sort of idea today, but who knows how Keefe will deploy the lineup tonight against a very good Stars team.

Even if Jack is done for the season, Fitz still needs to make a trade for a center. Even if Jack is back we still needed a third line center. So that third line center will move up to the second line. You can’t just stand pat. That sends the wrong message to the team. Without a first round pick this year, I at least want to make the playoffs.

Dallas has been rolling since they beat us the first game back from the 4 Nations. A win won't be easy but they have suorised us at times. Maybe they can rally around Jack being out or maybe not. We will see....I'm just going into it not expecting anything but a win would be nice. I think us fans deserve it.
