Like I keep saying, sticker on the inside of the drivers side door says 03/91.
But he may just be in such bad shape that the sticker is scratched out or faded, so that can no longer even be read!

Season 1: omg he's so talented
Seasons 2-4: soft, timid, burned left and right
Seasons 5+: tough, dependable shutdown stalwart

Will he be better on the devils is the questionI expect Casey in, with the D pairs moving around a bit today. Nemec needs to be better. I’m confident he’ll be, but it hasn’t been good enough this season.
Didn’t Utica change coaches this season after thr bad start? He's had the same coach and assistant coach in Utica since he's been here. He's had McGill as the defensive assistant up here for the same time as well, the only difference is Keefe this season.
They've been in constant communication with him since he went down with what he needs to work on. We've been significantly better defensively since last year, less chance taking from the back end, a less complicated system compared to Ruff, we're getting help from the forwards as well. I'd think that would only make things easier for him to step into and just keep it simple. He did mention his injury hampered him early on but he's past that, I have no idea why he's been struggling.

My bad, you're correct, Dineen was fired and the assistant Parent is the interim head coach now.Didn’t Utica change coaches this season after thr bad start?
In any event, Nemec showed up hurt and was predictably bad and was bad when sent down. It took a while but his play picked up in Utica after the new year. Now he’s called up and has for a few games when the entire team is pretty meh. I’m reluctant to just say they can’t develop a player based on that timeline. This certainly isn’t a good season for him but I’d give him another offseason to train and work with the NHL coaches on what’s expected and how to do it. Yesterday is a good example of an issue. He let a forward go back to the net uncovered. He wasn’t beaten or outskated. He just didn’t know what to do in that situation. He needs to play with much more discipline and smarts. That’s partly on him and partly on coaching. My biggest concern for him is his small area quickness. If he can improve his first step he is probably smart enough to learn to play better defense over time. Whether NJ wants to wait for that is a different question. My bad, you're correct, Dineen was fired and the assistant Parent is the interim head coach now.
I mean people called the missing the playoff talk doomerism, might not be so much after the next six game stretch. Six points up with everyone having a game or two in hand is not safe by any means, I know these other teams are mediocre slop but we’ve been that too for six weeks now with a brutal five game trip imminent.
Much like the sunflower and sunshine cadre refrain - “it’s only one game”.Tonight if we lose: We always lose to shit teams! Every other good team in the NHL beats the bad teams except us! We are throwing points away! Fire everyone.
Tonight if we win: Doesn't matter, Nashville sucks anyways we were expected to win this. Fire everyone.
Casey?
Casey?
Agreed. Get the guy with the good record back in the lineup. He may not be good at hockey but he’s good at winning and being big; 2 key attributes. It's probably MacDermid back in the lineup lol.
It's probably cause he plays four minutes and Jack gets double shifted lol.Agreed. Get the guy with the good record back in the lineup. He may not be good at hockey but he’s good at winning and being big; 2 key attributes.
I know we are all onboard with this.
