In general they were attacking our RHD in the D-zone. Seemed like mostly Nemec.

Bit of a poor pass to Luke.

Gave way too much room on a Vegas player as they drove his side on one play.

Maybe most concerning was he couldn't handle the speed of a Vegas player on another play and Luke had to cover.

But it almost looks like the staff made a conscious decision to dumb it down so we don't give up 10 goals like against Buffalo. But at the cost of not being able to create anything.

I dont blame them with Nico out. No Nico means the Jack line gets shutdown, and we don’t have the depth to combat that.

Our bread and butter is Nico Jack down the middle. Normally one of those lines are able to take control play when both healthy

I'll be curious to see if they actually do that.

Wouldn't surprise me at all if after 4 nations its Hatakka that gets the called back up after his conditioning stint. I wouldn't at all be shocked if this is basically a 2 game tryout for Nemec to stay up

Eh, small sample. The west road trip, sure. But the sickness problem was the biggest issue after that and I don’t think we can make a generalization about the team from that

They had two good games before Nico got hurt which the offense looked great, another small sample size but the Boston and MTL games looked much much closer to December play
