Speaking of nips….I wonder if anyone can get this movie quote. “You can’t win a marathon without putting some bandaids on your nipples.”

If Daws is ever going to be anything here or a regular next year, I think they need to make sure this year. And now is the time to do it.

Going into next year with him as the backup with the numbers he’s put up in the AHL this year and with only a couple of NHL games is something that gives me pretty bad flashbacks to last year when it didn’t work out with Schmid. And Schmid was coming off a very good backup season and playoffs. The one consolation is Markstrom is much better than Vitek, but he’ll also be 36 before next season ends and has already missed significant time this year.

If that’s the case then I really don’t think they’ll trust Daws to backup next year. I think they’re kind of auditioning him for that right now. And if he falters they’ll go with someone else. Maybe it’ll be Allen again around the same price or someone else.

Just picked up some tickets for the game tonight - my boys have off from school and practices were cancelled plus I'm "working" from home today, so figured I'd make the best out it. Fees seem a bit out of whack for Stubhub - $19 tickets plus a $14 per ticket fee.

Anyway, looking forward to seeing the return of the Nemec tonight. Will be following the Luke-Nemec.pairing closely. Vegas is on a 4 game skid - let's keep it going.

Use tickpick.com over stubhub. There is no fees and better prices than any of the online resellers. I've got great deals on there. Also have fun and hopefully the Devils can get you and your boys a win!

BetMGM sucks, they don't even have Holtz or Nemec listed at all. Can't choose either as an anytime goal scorer or anything. But I can bet on Siegs scoring a goal.

Did put a dollar down on Cotter to be the first goal scorer.

Nemec is here for the duration if Siegs is really out until playoff time. How a pair with him and Luke goes will go a long way to determining how we go as a team. There’s potential that Simon enables Luke to up his offense. But remember: defense first. Gaps, positioning in center ice, puck battles and blocked shots in our end, clean and efficient exits.

Shit I grabbed one in C8 for tonight because it was at $143 fees included. Single club seats day of can be pretty good deals! Not sure how this defensive pairings and starting Nico Daws again will work out but, I'll have fun either way. LGD!
