Our peace treaty was in shambles in the latter part of the last game, but Timo made sure to remind us the importance of wiping the slate clean!

Unfortunately, with one return in Haula, we lose another in Siegs. What happened you ask?

But that allows us to open the door for Nemo's return, who has been building his game back up in Utica lately!

Now we need to prepare for some potential pains in the backend as someone will be playing on their off side. Might mess with their depth perception.

And in comes a Vegas team tonight who has struggled mightily over the past month. What could possibly go wrong, right?

You know the drill. Points, by hook or by crook. Get a big fat DUB tonight boys!

Alex Holtz second line is wild
I saw a breakdown of their last 14 games from THG yesterday. What stood out was their individual scoring. If you think we've got depth scoring problems, you don't know the half of it. They have five players in double digits and then their next highest is Olofsson, who's fallen off of a cliff of late.

If they're playing Holtz, they're down bad.

I love PUP and that’s my favorite song by them. Great add!

Good luck on the game..... btw want Holtz back, like could we just leave him in the parking lot or something

Good luck to you guys as well. In all seriousness, many of us hoped Holtz would put it together and thought we sold him for pennies on the dollar in this trade. Unfortunately, it appears he just doesn't have the hockey sense to make it at this level. Other than his shot, his skill set is just not there.

FYI, updated the lines based on morning skate. Dillon-Dougie reunited, Pesce on LD with Kovacevic, Luke with Nemo.

Our off season moves have been a mixed bag, Holtz didn't work. nor did Schwindt. Olafsson I'd like more from but he's been alright. Letting Stephenson walk was a smart move, shipping Logan Thompson was not. Either way, we are so frigid right now.... I've been doing everything I can to jinx you, and I'm not sure it's enough

Hughes-Nemec is listed as the third pairing. Hughes normally gets a lot of ES minutes but I wonder if they think they may want to limit his minutes after playing almost 30 last game.

I also wonder that if Hughes-Nemec has some good early shifts, if they quickly become the more broadly used ES line with Pesce-Kovy taking the tougher defensive minutes.

You guys are in a very similar position to where we've been over the past month+. We came out of the Christmas break cold on top of a bad West Coast trip. After that, the team got hit with the flu bug and it was quite apparent in the way they were playing. Now we're losing guys left and right to injury, Markstrom, Hischier and now Siegenthaler.

I think this will be another slog of a game between two teams that just want to grab points and get to the break ASAP.

How's Cotter done lately, I know he started off strong, but haven't heard much since then.

He's a fine 4th liner but as you know he's all speed and some hands and that's it. Not a guy you can play up the lineup, but overall a better fit than Holtz, because he can take a regular shift

And having him signed for so cheap this year and next is really nice.
