Also his stat line is lowkey trash with CBJ but I still don't get Fitz's thought process of not giving Labanc a deal but whatever lol. He's gonna have to burn assets to find bottom 6 depth at the deadline + cap space in the summer

Doesn't explain getting completely dominated tonight.
I aint talking about tonight. It was an embarrassing performance and nothing more can be said about it

If you are following my conversation its the season at large. Only way it gets turned around is with our two healthy centers. The team cannot overcome that with how it currently structured. I literally been saying all season that we need upgrades because when injuries and fatigue will happen and it won’t look pretty. I said it many times even in December when they were looking good.

I'm eating peanut butter out of the jar with a spoon. That settles me down.

Chunky or creamy?

I am not enjoying the fact that we are looking back at Columbus.

Rantanen could very well be Carolina's Meier.

He's gonna walk, only team he would've entertained a discount with this close to UFA was Colorado. He's going to ask for 12-13M from Carolina. Timo is still fine for his AAV, the dude just can't score, another post tonight

Canes also looking back at Lumbus.

Jackets made up a huge gap on everyone (besides wash) in the East with their insane 25 gm stretch of .730% hockey

They were mediocre with Nico for a few weeks too, that's the whole issue from the doomers point of view as well. But yes, they're even more cooked without him

Justin f***ing Dowling has played 38 games for us so far and is now our 3C lol.

Also congrats to Luke to topping this chart:

Oh I agree. Im talking bigger picture

This doesn’t take away the obvious point I am making. This team runs on those two being healthy. Folks think that was bad, oho, just imagine the entire season with one of those guys out. We wouldn’t have 66 pts right now.

I mean duh? What team goes into the year saying "we'll able to sustain a big injury to a player", Colorado doesn't do that with MacK nor does Edmonton with McDavid/Drai. At some point, Nico has to consistently put together seasons where he's healthy for the majority of them. Picking Nemec over Cooley might be one of the biggest draft blunders we've had in a while.

It absolutely is not fine for your top paid forward to be performing this poorly.

Can't play with either of our top 2 centres and is on pace to barely squeak 20 goals, hell he might not even hit 20....

Canes basically going .525 for two months helps us a ton. We are still within a gm of Metro 2 which is wild. The parity in the East is just yucky

If he doesn't score 5 in the remaining 20-25 ish games then you just chalk it to an awful season production wise. He's shooting at 9.6% this year when his average has been 12-13%. Come on, dude. It doesn't take a math major to realize he's been a shitty finisher this year in a career where he's been tremendous at that aspect of his game.
