said it before will say it again nhl needs to address the overtime issue. I get the strategy behind it but it makes shit tv when I constantly am told to “grow the game”. What better way to grow it then to have an offensive gifted team have to play keep away? If you make it teams can’t leave the offensive zone they just won’t gain it to begin with. Blowing plays dead because ragging won’t solve it either because teams aren’t guaranteed to win the faceoff and whistles are a buzz kill to begin with.

Honestly the shootout was more interesting then the overtime mainly because the shootout went on longer and built up the drama.

Credit to the team for grinding out points through a bunch of shitty circumstances. Do it again for two more games and they are sitting pretty in the standings and focusing on getting healthy, rested and turning this around.

Someone mentioned Pesce has played the left side before. I think you have to run that for now if Siegs is out long term.
