It seems we've reached a treaty of understanding of sorts with the divide of the board. In the spirit of things, let us squash beefs!

And perhaps with that, we can all stop being at each other's throats

Now what we can all agree on is that we're in crunch time now.

While we might get some reinforcement from Erik Haula tonight, we still need to grind out some Ws before the break this week. The boys gotta bring the intensity they brought last week against Philly.

Time to sack on up and take these bums down.

I know it feels like we're playing like garbage right now, but NHL .500 in the last 10 games is good enough to keep us afloat until Markstrom and the centers come back.

That being said, we cannot have more losses to bad teams like the Buffalo game. Get the points you're supposed to get against bottom feeders and whatever happens against top teams is whatever happens.

Yeah, he said Allen tightened up and that’s why he threw Daws in last game.

I was pretty confident we were winning this game, but now I’m not as sure with Daws in there.

I have very little belief in Daws at this point. And I was hoping we wouldn’t see him start until Allen looked really bad. And I didn’t think Allen looked really bad last game.

This is Daws last chance IMO. Not necessarily tonight, but this season. If he shows nothing at the NHL level this season like he hasn’t shown shit in the AHL this year, then he’ll likely spend the entire year in the AHL next year, unless he needs to be called up or if someone is desperate and claims him on waivers. He’s inspired nothing with his AHL play this year.

If he shows nothing at the NHL level this year then I think he has no chance of being the NHL team’s backup going into next year.

Every time I see a bottom feeder on the schedule since the California trip I shriek with fear and expect a loss. We did beat Philly, but only our third try in like 10 days.

For the first time in a while I was confident we would win today. I just had a good feeling. Now I’m not feeling as strongly with Nico Daws in there.

Nice - was about to post that I hope that Daws gets this game.

Was hoping to see some more of Poulter/Daws while Markstrom is out. Makes sense to give Daws the nod tonight against a lesser opponent after Allen had a rough outing and Daws shut out Buffalo in the 3rd.

Do you at least go outside so you don't scare your dog once you start shrieking?

Y'all think there's gonna be trades made during this upcoming 2 week break? Could give new acquisitions time to find a place to live and get settled. Are there any practices during the end of it?

I have been concerned with the team's play since the first of the year.

We again play another cellar dweller, we haven't beaten them lately.

I hope the team starts playing in the first 30 seconds rather than the 3rd period.

Go Devils
We need points, now
One game at a time
