Allen's history would say probably not, but we've seen rando nobody goalies worse than Allen go on runs before, so it's possible.

If not him then maybe we get some help from Daws.

Though I'm not too terribly high on him, but it's a new season, new head coach, new system and he's a year older.

Best case maybe Markstrom starts the first game after the break, which is only 4 weeks from tonight. There's only like 6 or 7 more games left until then I think?

Would love for Allen to go on a Clemmer-like run until Marky-Mark comes back.

Not sure if it was talked about during the early portion of the game, but I thought Nico looked off all night. One play he kind of just stood there watching the play.

Moral of the story is I think he's got the bug that's been running through the team, and that combined with some physical abuse is why he left the game.

NJ easily outplayed MTL. That goalie just held MTL in the game. But I don’t think I can ever listen to that HNIC broadcast do a NJ game again. It’s worse than the reffing. So one sided and stilted and biased. I’m guessing it’s only for a US based team when they don’t think anyone in the US is watching. I’m sure they do better for two Canadian teams. It was embarrassing
