Was definitely an overcorrection by Fitz in the spirit of more veteran leadership and toughness. The whole "put a big, slow, stay at home defenseman with your offensive liability" mentality is so old fashioned. Dougie would probably look lightyears better with Siegs or even Luke on his pairing.

Luke-Dougie as a pairing have f***ing COOKED anytime they've been played together. Luke's skating and dougies shot would compliment well imo
