That felt like a game out of last year. They came out flying, goalie gives up a shit goal, team becomes flat and the remaining game is them trying to get back into it. Proceed to get back into it and they shit your pants late/end of the game somehow. Keefe deserves this one on the head, playing MacD and then his decisions late with the game tied + trying to tie were f***ing ass cheeks.

I don’t think it’s a facade, but hopefully they get on a little heater. 2 straight L’s isn’t the end of the world.

The next 4 games are winnable, with 3 being EXTREMELY winnable.

Tomorrow being the one that's not extremely winnable.

Although, this game tonight was extremely winnable coming in. The only team we're gonna play worse than this for the rest of the season is San Jose (very soon) and I think we got another against Chicago?

And maybe the Rangers lol.

This team’s bottom six has been ABYSMAL. I swear it’s been weeks since they’ve even gotten anything that resembles a dangerous scoring opportunity, much less actual goals. This is f***ing unacceptable.

This could become a huge issue in the playoffs. I feel like this team definitely makes the postseason but it could be a quick exit if they don’t address this.

This was like a game 3 loss of a series we would win in 5. Frustrating, but not worried in the slightest. Get a forward via trade.

Trade Mercer now while his perceived value around the league is likely higher than it should be. Our lack of secondary scoring is a major concern. Haula flat out stinks. I was worried about handing him a three year deal and lo and behold, we could be stuck with him for another year. The third line is straight up trash and the 4th line is a joke. Our 2022 team had superior depth to this one. It absolutely must be addressed because it can’t always be the top two lines getting it done, especially in the playoffs.

I think the first Carolina game was fine enough. It wasn't good but it wasn't bad. It was a bad first, a good second, and then a 3rd where they basically just tried to do enough to win and they did.

At least it's Carolina. I take a game where Carolina throttles us less seriously than a game where we make Anaheim look like a top-5 team in the league that can score at will.
