I am finally here. I replayed the first goal against just another defensive failure for the Devils. you can't leave a guy like P. Kane all alone with an open corner and the puck and not expect him to score. Vitek made a decision based on. what he thought he came out, the guy with the puck didn't shoot because he saw that he drew out Vitek and no Drvils' defensemen came over to block can't who got the pass and scored. Having a young D is difficult having 3 is more dificult

3rd to last shift it looked like the Devils accidentally had 4 forwards and a defenseman on for almost a full shift.
 
To think about Jack too, I'd sign up for him just drawing penalties for us instead of generating stuff but he just looks so disinterested and ready for the break. Maybe this break is a perfect reset for him but man we need him bad.
 
alright so that wasn't terrible aside from that goal

mcleod and timo might be a thing. who woulda thought that coming into the season lol

Jimmy Howard is on the Wings intermission broadcast and he is talking through his teeth. Someone tell this guy to open his mouth when he speaks.
 
McLeod is playing about as well as any Devil. Good for Motor Mike.

I think Bastian even won a physical battle. Things are looking up!

They still over commit in the dzone. On Kane's goal, I think 4 players crashed the blue line. This like a team that blitzes constantly and when teams throw out the misdirection screen, they think they just need to blitz harder.
