I can’t tell if Cotter is actually good yet but I definitely like him as a player. He might be more of a great 4th liner that can stick on other lines if we need him to.

I think in the ideal version of this team that’s exactly what he should be.

Is he already a UFA? I figured he was an RFA and if he showed nothing this year and didn’t get a full time spot that we’d just let him walk as an RFA and not offer him a new deal.

Yup. Early on I was hoping he was a legit 3rd liner but I think he might just be the great 4th liner and the Wood with hands instead.

Yup. My hope is an add that pushes Palat down (I mean he should be pushed down with what we currently have but whatever they’re not doing that). Tatar should be on that 3rd line with Cotter and Palat as the 4th line wings.
