Markstrom is swimming tonight, almost is 2-1 them because of him, thankfully it’s only 1-1 thanks to him letting a shot in from Yonkers.

PP was good minus not scoring, Nico’s line needs to be better, dougie and Dillon continue to be an issue in the d zone.

That pass by Kovy to Haula was really good, as was the zone entry by Mercer.

Cotter almost scored the best goal of the year for the devils.

So that felt like the Candiens game, where zone entries were markedly easier than other proximate games.

They can skate well against the Preds but this seems to force them into over-pass-a-palooza. A little more directness will go a long way to neutralizing this team. Forsberg, Stammer, Josi and March can pot pucks.
