Per hockey reference it's .902% coming into tonight. Still a point below last year's average and it would still be the lowest league average since 05-06 if it holds, but last week it was .898%. It's went up a lot in the last 1-2 weeks.

Most of last night's games featured a shutout.

With there being such an at least perceived difference in the quality of goalies in this game I think at least from a tactical point of view you're better off trying to turn a game like this into a track meet and hoping Markstrom>Martin and our talent can come through. Rather than it being lower event hockey where the margins are slimmer
