Definitely interested in Provorov. Hoglander for Provorov@50% seems about right, but I'm not sure I would do it. He's probably our 4th best winger and we'd be left with Pius Suter or Di Guiseppe or something in our top 6 again.

I think at some point, you might have to weigh what it costs for a Top-4D vs what you can get a replacement Top-9 Winger for.


If you can get CBJ to retain 50% on Provorov, you're getting a solid Top-3D for like...$2.4M.

I think that opens up some opportunities to go out and find a capable Top-9 winger elsewhere. Maybe not as unique as Hoglander if that's what it takes to make the deal. But i think there are always options out there for cheaper than C/D.
