Hi,

I wonder how much did you like Hughes picks at the draft time, and how about now ? The draft order is important here; a higher pick comes with higher expectation. It's normal that we tend to like a player more because he belongs to us now, although he hasn't improved much since the draft.

Like to be picking top 5-10 this draft. Good players available. My 6th sense tells me we may need one more stud player

Slaf before it's easily 8,5. I wanted Wright, Cooley or Slaf. So, I was happy. I really liked his skillset. Now it's 100% a 10. 43 pts in his 53 NHL games. That's very impressive.

Mesar, before 6. Now 3. (I wanted Kulich or Lambert).
Beck, before 7. Now 7,5.
Hutson, before 8, now 10.
Engstrom before 5 (don't knowing him), now 8,5.

Reinbacher before 5 (I wanted a forward between Michkov, Leonard or Benson), now I'm very happy with that steady two-way RD, 8,5.
Fowler. Before 7, now 9.
Xhekaj before 6. Now 7,5. I see bottom 6 potential in him. He is a unicorn like his brother. Great skillset. Both Xhekaj's can be special for longtime.
Konyushkov before 5 (don't knowing him) now 8,5.
Volokhin before 5 (don't knowing him), now 8.

Demidov will be always 10. I was already big fan of him in 2023 draft, I already know his high talent. Now I really like his personnality and hard work aswell.

Hage will be always 9 to me. This skillset is damm impressive. 1,72ppg in his last 29 games in USHL at 17 years old, that's impressive. I see top 6 potential in him.

Sawyer, I really like his skillset. Very intriguing pick. A solid 7,5.

The rest, will see.
