dang that is gangster. I need to get my basement going. Have a set of full equipment from the 90s (not game worn), don beaupre goalie stick and al iafrate stick (used in game), couple rod langway never used sticks with whole team autographing that have worn off ... and a shit ton of HTS coffee cups lol

Definitely get some UV protection. My pop got an all white football signed by all the '88 skins, put it in his office (not even directly in the Sun) .. 20 years later they are 75% not visible, im sure now its just a white football.

For those who might be interested, the Team Store at MedStaris selling the actual 2005 black jersey with the Capitol on it. I asked if they were wearing them this year and he said no, they just came out with the retro line because they got great feedback on the black jersey but people kept asking for the original. $130. Might have to pick one up.

They also have the white Stadium Series jersey on sale for $50. Tons of sizes still available.

It was too small at a ccm small and I got the new Mitchell and Ness version in a medium.

trying to figure out getting it back.
 
So, does anyone remember the Caps game against Tampa where Antero Niittymaki smashed his stick over the crossbar in the finish? I feel like I very distinctly remember this happening, but sourcing it has become a problem

Because I'm pretty goddamn sure I have that stick, signed by a lot of the Lightning at the time.
