Interesting they put Patterson so high in the lineup where he's struggled a bit, over Romani or AHL tweeners on the 4th line.

IMac reporting today that if the Canucks had eliminated the Oilers in Gave #7 last spring, the Canucks were all set to dress Lekkerimaki for the Dallas series to replace Boeser on one of the top lines.

Tonight you can see why.....are you kidding me? It isn't just the shot, it's his shiftiness and on-ice vision. That line of Raty, Bains and Lekkerimaki is going to be something to watch in Abby this year. That is, if Lekkerimaki doesn't get a long, long look from the parent Canucks to start the season.

Lekk is dynamic. Raty looks quick out there. Klimovich showing some speed and skill but you also see the absent details to execute consistently or win battles despite his strength.
