This is hardly the place for a question like that, Jacques. :sarcasm:

Everyone I've met who does yoga comes off as pretentious to anyone who doesn't do it. I enjoy the idea of what the benefits are but I'm not sure it's worth going through actually dealing with the type of person that does yoga.

What does that even mean?

People who practice yoga are the most accepting, understanding, non-judgemental people you'll ever meet.

Enough about yourself already. What's step 1?
The first step is practice. Actually the only step is practice.

What kind of direction are you looking for?

Go practice at a studio, go practice off a YouTube video (or Gaia.tv or doyogawithme.com or any site), or find a book to follow to practice.

"Practice and all is coming."

Also, if you want advice on a specific book or teacher to follow videos from, let me know and I can hopefully point you in the right direction.

Nah. You're not serious so I'm not going to waste my time answering you. If anyone is serious about starting a practice and has any questions or wants help, let me know.

WTF are you talking about? Do you want to help people or not?

Clearly you won't
