I know it's early but why are we being such biches about how the team is playing? Sure we aren't playing well but we lost 5 critical players to our system in Voynov Regehr Richards Stoll and Williams along with Jones. All of them have been replaced (as well as to be expected) and with the exception of Williams and Voynov are gone due to their collective inability to perform at the level that we expect of them it is going to take time for the team to gel into the great team that they will become.

Lucic will find his place with the team and have a big year.

Shore and Weal are going to be solid and have good years but both are really nothing more than rookies at this point (even with Shore's ltd but greater NHL exp) and rookies take time.

Ehrhoff while good isn't on the same level as VV. In time he will pick up the system and be a solid 2nd pairing D for us. McNabb simply MUST play in every game somewhere. Marty needs to have a full healthy season and get his game back to where it was before last seasons injury.

Other than that we have a ton of very talented players who simply need time to gel and we will be fine. For gods sake we have played two games. Two terrible efforts but still only two games. Lets table this until we have played 7 or 8 games, mk?
