Yeah, he's out indefinitely but Lou is worse than the Avs to hide injuries. Blocking a shot with a knee isn't usually a season ending thing.

Devils really want a 3C, not sure if Mittlestadt it the answer. But if Cmac could trick them into thinking Colton is a 3c...that would be great.

I think he said Toronto too. I'm hopeful because it seems like there is a lot of teams interested. But at the same time, the reason there are a lot of teams interested is why it's going to be really hard to replace him.

I mean the way CM fits in the Avs system.. it wouldn't be hard to match or replace his results. He's only been getting like 10 minutes a night as the "2C" and getting less than 1 shot per game on average. He literally gets the puck and tries to force a play that isn't there and turns the puck over everytime.

The center market is extremely scarce.
It scares me that we might end up with nothing. I don’t care about losing Mitts, but we can’t have Colton or Drury at 2C.
We will either pay a premium price for somebody who isn’t really available, ie. Barzal, or we stick with Mitts.
Barzal is the only idea outside of Kadri that I've seen and *kinda like.
Give him Nuke/Lehky or Drouin/Necas and he'd be fine at center here.

Whats the report on Cozens? Forever a winger or the next Scheifele? It wouldn't be the 1st time the Sabres botched a players development. Would be an interesting fit with us. Right handed shot, can fly and is a shoot first kind of guy.
When Mackinnon came into the league people thought he wouldn't cut it as a center. Cozens would be a guy I hope the scouts do their homework on. Untapped potential.
