The Flyers have let it be known that Stephane Yelle is on the trade block. The defensive specialist is an UFA at the end of season. Yelle who sports a 78 Def. rating could fill in nicely as the #3 centre and Penalty Kill specialist.
The Flyers are still searching for a backup goalie but would be open to a draft pick. It's also common knowledge that the team has also tried to package Yelle with one of their top defensive prospects most notably Tim Gleason and Paul Ranger for a Right Winger who could play on their top 2 lines for several years.
