crickets. someone didn’t want that smoke i guess.
so we have a bet then, yes?I don’t care about the dumb bet.
i will give you your flowers here. i was a laine defender and i was wrong.Ironically Laine is also somebody I said Chinakhov was just as good as, or better than
because those skills haven’t translated to actual production.WHY are people downplaying his skills and ability as a player!?!?
I think it has more to do with the fact he hasn't been able to support your position because he can't stay healthy. I don't know that many on here would disagree that he has a great skill set, but the best ability is availability and he simply hasn't been available to show he can be consistent with the tools in the toolbox. I love him as a player, but I don't feel he's part of the core at this point and I'd prefer to have someone in the lineup contributing. I don't trust Chinakhov to be part of this core at this point. Not because he isn't good enough, but because he isn't here enough. You can only hold a spot so long and he's missed a lot of time to develop and demonstrate he can show those traits consistently.WHY are people downplaying his skills and ability as a player!?!?
I dont think he'll be on the team next year. DW has been very adamant in getting rid of injury prone players. He just cant stay healthy.

• The Jackets, like all NHL clubs, have minimal contact with players during the offseason, but they can check in on players who were injured in the previous season. Waddell said he received a positive update on winger Yegor Chinkahov, who was saddled with a back injury in recent seasons. Chinakhov has played in 113 games and missed 112 games with injury over the last three seasons. Not a good ratio. But Waddell said there was good news last week: “I just got a report that everything is going well for him,” he said. “Everything is going well for him. He’s training. No issues at all. I don’t worry about him. He’s always been in pretty good shape, and the report said no issues at all.” Chinakhov mentioned to reporters late last season that he needed a procedure on his back that was only available in Russia, but it’s unclear if he’s had any procedure since the season ended.
Yea, Ohio Health referred me to a Dr in St Petersburg, too.
Chinakov to his back: “I must break you.”
Chinakhov = Marchenko
