I don't really see why NJD are making this move. They've got Jack, Nico, Palat, Mercer, hopefully Timo & Haula, maybe Holtz coming in. I'm not sure there's a ton of room for Yamamoto, or more importantly a need for him.

He went 22nd overall and is currently 12th in points for his draft class.

He didn't have a spectacular year by any stretch, but calling him a mega bust is plain wrong.

Yams couldn't produce with the 2 best centers in the league. So yeah, he slots on the 3rd line because he can't produce. And no, you aren't getting any value in return. Liklely get a similar player in return.

Sharangovich had 30 points, pretty similar production, for one, and for another, I’m not the one shopping him, OP is asking.
