Anyone liking NHL 14 so far? I just picked it up during lunch and can't wait to play when I get home from work. I decided to go back to the 360 for it.. I had NHL 13 for PS3 (I did 09, 10, 11, 12 on my 360), but I prefer the Xbox Live interface for teams/leagues/etc.

The demo was amazing. They fixed the HORRIBLE true-performance skating from last year..the fighting engine is awesome ,and overall the game just feels better.
gonna play madden for a few weeks then pick it up.

The skating style is optional with regard to the "true-performance" garbage from last year....so you can choose skating the resembles NHL 12...but sometimes, for no good reason at, it switches back...I dunno. Scoring is tough.
Are you saying there's an option to utilize the .'TPS' or not? Are you talking about 13 or 14?
overall the demo just feels better than last year's. actually never really played 13 much...just didn't like it.

I played it for a while last night on 360. I like it better than 13. The skating, hitting, and puck physics feel much more realistic than last year. This is the first NHL game that feels like it takes place on Earth to me. The default Ranger lines need modification though in my opinion.
Also, the actual game has been tweaked significantly from the demo. Much better now IMO.

Does anyone have experience in how Yahoo's scoring system works in regard to categories that overlap?
For example: You can give out points for goals and PP goals. Will a PPG score the base points for a goal with the PPG score added on top, or will it just give the amount that is defined by the PPG parameter.
Let's say: Goal = 1p, PPG = 0.7p.
Would a PPG gve 1.7p or 0.7p in that scenario?
