Made it known in a 12-team, 10-keeper H2H league that I needed D and got an offer of Myers for Eberle. Thoughts?

C - Pavelski, Dubinsky, Eberle, Stoll, Stepan
RW - Gaborik, Iginla, Skinner
LW - Heatley, Neal, Burrows
D - E-Jo, Franson, Zidlicky, Robidas
G - Luongo, Rinne, Schneider, Markstrom

MAF really turned the fortunes of my team. If Zajac would just do something......anything.......I could set off in pursuit of Jarmac and Shat Scar.

Ditto. Now if only Niemi or Rask would start to put things together, I'd be all set.

In a keeper, I would personally not trade Eberle for a defenseman.

Despite having given up on Niemi, this season could very well pan out just the way last season did for him, but it's going to have to come on the back of a mighty big turnaround for the team as a whole.

Rask, I just don't know. I thought Thomas was cooling off, then comes up with a 41 save shutout against Philly last night.

Keeper, no way. Eberle is probably going to be great, and as far as fantasy goes top forwards are leagues above top defensemen, unless they're pulling a Buffy/Green.

I traded him for the waiver wire, because I didn't pick him up in any deep leagues.

You're not going to get anything for him right now, outside of some tweeners. Probably best to just suck it up.

I feel like 6 of our 9 members are barely bothering anymore. I haven't seen most managers bother setting their roster this past week. It seems only myself (Metalgods), Lynch Mob, and We Want Cup are even active anymore.

Yah, you've got to know who you're playing with. I've been in leagues where people are killing themselves to sign up in September, then never participate.......ever.

We've got a big matchup this week. I'm worried about how my team will hold up. My goaltending is pretty bad right now, and the rest of the team hasn't been producing as much as they usually do. This should be a good one though.

I'm having a little bit of goalie trouble (though not as bad as others in this thread haha) and am looking for some opinions.

I'm in a non-keeper H2H league and I have Neuvirth. Varlamov is a FA. Do you think that I should stick with Neuvirth or pick up Varlamov (and drop Neuvirth)??? My other goalies are Bryzgalov and Price.

NOTE: You only get points for Wins in this league. Each goal is -1 and a loss is -5. A win is 7 points and a SO is another 5.

Definitely get Varly, he's played well since his return, and will probably see more starts.

I'm in a league my cousin set up. My first time doing Roto but I like it a lot. Only regret is that I backed down on the Stamkos bidding. I really really wanted him back then but didn't realize guys would be going for so cheap in the later rounds. Oh yeah, I also had Liles but dropped him because he was slumping. I thought it might have just been a lucky 1st 11 assists? The clowns I kept over him... Picking up Pavelec and Brobovsky have helped turn my goaltending around; my biggest weakness.

Looks like you were a day early on that Gustavsson drop.

I really can't remember a season of goaltending like this. I've cycled through several options and most have been disastrous. I had my eye on Crawford too, but these "emerging #1's" have already bitten me with the Smith/Ellis fiasco and just left me too gun shy to make the move.

Nah, I'm with you HS. I benched Boyes and went with new acquisition Skille on the right side. I think the 'Hawks take this one with ease.

This is my second year in yahoo leagues and I decided to takle 3 teams, 1 in each league. 1 is 12 team, 1 is 20 team, and 1 is 10 team. I've been top 3 in all 3 leagues so far.

Already tired of the drop out syndrome and subsequent trade my stars to my buddy on the way out the door B.S., not that it's affected me too much in the standings, B I G HaHa to them.

I may come asking for an invite next year if ya'll dont mind, provided I meet the qualifications.
