- Taylor Hall is probably going to play this game. Eakins says he'll decide where to insert him when the time comes. I'd be pretty choked if they broke up the Pouliot-Nuge-Eberle line. I totally predict that Eakins will do it.

- Does it matter who plays in net? Course not. Oilers Shutout shutout shutout.

- Sam Gagner and Devan Dubnyk and Tobias Rieder suck. You know one of these men will score. I'm betting it's whoever gets their Head Crusher'ed.

- Late start to a Sunday home game. Early start to the GDT for no good reason.

Hate to say must-win this early but the Oilers can't afford to get any further behind the rest of the West. Gotta start winning games while the teams in front are struggling.

Arizona at Edmonton

Sunday's game
Coyotes at Oilers
When: 7 p.m.
Where: Rexall Place
TV/radio: SNW/630 CHED - FSAZ/KTAR-AM (620)

Duby and Gags returns to Edmonton as a Coyote.

What if Duby with SO and Gags with GW?

Dubnyk now 3-0-1 this season with his third shutout against the Vancouver.

I highly doubt the fans will booo them.

Yandle is the leading scorer for the Coyotes while OEL has the team worst plus minus with -10

Dallas Eakins to Coach 100th Game.

Yeah... I do as well. The problem with that is... I feel teams will continue to key on Hall and his line, no matter how well Nuge does.

But I think that configuration gives us the best chemistry (4th line intact, Perron/Purcell).

I am hoping Oilers to lose on Eakins 100th game, hoping a shutout victory for AZ something like 7-0 Gagner with 5 points and Rieder with GW and of course Duby with shutout. Not because i am a fan of Dubnyk but to prove that Chabot sucks

So, I take it that Martin Marincin isn't going to be getting into any games in the near future with this club.

Meh, even though he was kinda struggling, I still think that he's a better option than The Captain, an obviously injured Nikitin, or Keith ****ing Aulie. Well, I suppose Aulie actually hasn't looked too bad at all in the games that he's played, but he's never been very consistent at the NHL level; his level of play will fall off a cliff sooner than later.

Anyways, since it looks as though the Oilers aren't interested in seriously competing this year, may as well just send Marincin back down to OKC so he can at least get some playing time, and call up Brad Hunt to fill in the 7th D/pressbox position for the remainder of this season.

Oh, and as for the game itself, I could see it getting pretty fugly pretty damn quick.

Dont look now guys but despite the horrible start,we are 6 points out of a playoff spot with 2 games in hand. We win this one and its a step in the right direction.

I think with Hall's quick transition game and Yakupov's speed, Drai wouldn't be able to keep up. He's as slow as molasses.

5-0 Arizona.

Dubnyk starts and shuts us out. Phoenix scores 4 in the first period.

Frustration mounts and jerseys are tossed on the ice.

You know we're not going to win this. Arizona has our number.

Not that it's saying much but they're still a better team than this one.

Not looking forward to watching Arizona play a game of keep away in this one. Tippet could coach a team of ECHLers to victory over any Eakins team
