Adam Brooks is playing some darned fine hockey. A better skater than I expected, his smarts really stand out to me. Like Sandin, the guy has the ability to make a short, effective pass to players who are in a position to move the puck up the ice. His game tonight showed some maturity, he was responsible in the O zone when making decisions as to his positioning and responsibilities, whether covering lanes or dropping back for a pinching D or anticipating a Habs breakout. Color me impressed.

Well played games, I think with how well Brooks has played as 4th Centre you keep him in the line up and swap Hyman in for Galchenyuk. He started pretty good but has been fading.

Nash would be the depth if Brooks cannot sustain his play and Engvall is last resort

Nice win even though I thought that we were a little flat tonight. Matthews hand eye coordination is from another planet. Really nice game by Campbell. I thought he should have been first star. He didn't even get third.

Didn't like the game tonight. I thought we were the 2nd best team out there. Our 2nd and 3rd lines were terrible. JT was really bad tonight.

The fact we won 4-1 shows how good of a team we do have though. To get outplayed by our likely 1st round matchup and still win 4-1 shows something. That's also demoralizing for them, because they know that when our team does show up, we will smash them.

Don't ever take a team lightly, especially a team motivated to beat us.

Also. Come playoffs, Anderson has to be heeled. He is a little too comfortable out there throwing checks at guys. he needs to absorb a few too, by committee.
