Just a thought

With the Hawks stringing together a coonsistant winning streak, I see Kaiser(and Kurashev) on the outside looking in…

Would Kaiser benefit from a stint in Rockford? I’d like to see him paired up with Levshunov for a month or so…is Kaiser still waiver for exempt?

I know he's not an offensive defenseman, but it's kind of crazy he's only managed 1 point in 28 games with 17 minutes of ice time per night.

Even Tinordi managed to have 9 points last year in just 52 games. Kaiser is on pace for 2 points over 70 games lol.

You'd think Kaiser would have lucked into a few secondary assists if nothing else by now.

It's weird how the Hawks aren't very good and the roster feels a little crowded to me. I know some of you may disagree with that but I think Kaiser is a legit NHL defensemen who made a bad mistake against NJ. Since then, the Hawks have won 3 in a row with him in the press box but yeah, I'd say it has little to do with Kaiser not being on the ice.

With Korchinski coming up and playing the way he is, I think Kaiser will going to Rockford just to get minutes - not so much for further development. Jones and Martinez coming back means 2 guys are gonna have to go down and Crevier will likely be one and one of Allan/Korchinski/Kaiser will be the other.

It'll be interesting to see who gets traded and when and that will open up spots for the young D to play out the rest of the season.

They are crowded with young defensemen, that doesn't necessarily mean "stacked", just crowded with players that need or are pushing for spots.

I wouldn't say they're crowded with Forwards, they have multiple plugs that could be replaced at a given moment but most of the forwards are a bit younger and not pushing hard for spots.

With Vlasic established and Allan establishing himself + Korchinski at NHL level and Del Mastro in que I would not be surprised if Kaiser is trade chip to bring in a young F

Hall, Kurashev, Kaiser and the 2nd 1st round pick in 2025 to the Rangers for Kreider.

The Kreider in NY about to turn 34 with 2 years left on a deal paying 6.5 per on pace for 32 points this season? That Kreider? I wouldn't trade Kurashev for him straight up. If you fed Kurashev the 3 minutes per game of PP time Kreider gets, Kurashev would probably be on pace for the 50 points he put up last year when he got that type of PP time (and I am not advocating for Kurashev to get more PP time).
