Why the f*** are they debuting Chance &
Carter against the champs? So the one legit tag team is instantly going to lose?

Again.

Build up Chance & Carter, no need to slingshot them into a match there. It was fine, they did well, but f*** sakes.

KC2 are awesome so given time week to week they will be fine.

But losing just for announcers to be like "what bravery. They put up a good fight" that shit never gets someone over

This ^

I hate that. They should be thought of as a threat immediately, not this underdog shit. They have been a legit full on tag team years before any of these makeshift teams became a thing.

Anyone who thought Cody should have went over at Wrestlemania, much less believed that the Bloodline should have ended took a massive 'L' today.
Really everything that Roman has been about during this run being ‘bad for business’ and is holding the belt(s) hostage has been killed dead.

“He’s not on TV enough!” - Ratings are up YOY.

“He’s not elevating anyone.” - Sami is finally a big star, Uso’s main event Wrestlemania night 1. People don’t end up in catering.

“He never wrestles or defends the title! They don’t do this in AEW.” - Has more matches on TV/PPV since the start of 2022 than MJF. Not including house shows.

“Cody would’ve won if it wasn’t for the 1,000 day thing.” Good. Hope it’s 2,000 days if the product is better.

Granted, a lot of this is better function of Triple H having weekly booking control where ratings have been consistently elevated, but Vince was still in control of it for the first, like, 2 years of this.
