Rollins and Sami are just absurdly over

Still pisses me off that they’re gonna give Sami the tag titles at mania though

I don’t know why they put Cody and Sami in the same ring cutting promos. That’s not something you do without expecting them to be in a match with each other. Or if one is getting a tag title.

It was a super bold move, but I think it worked. They did what they were supposed to do... You basically had Cody be Sami's cheerleader, hyping the shit out of him.

I probably would have avoided it, but it is what it is. I'm just glad they're holding KO off TV until the PPV.

I am but I'm not. I think Jey Uso is going to be a HUGE heel after Saturday. There will never be a bigger, more meaningful tag match in Wrestlemania history, imo. We're going to get white hot KO/Sami and mega heel tag team of the Uso's. This Bloodline/Sami story has a ton of KO mixed in, so it's perfect to me. It should main event night 1.

It’s all been done so extremely well, and if it main events night 1 (it deserves to) and begins the fall of the bloodline, then yes it will make for great theater.

Sami v Roman on Saturday adds a huge main event to a ppv that is typically a dud and easy to skip. That one match makes it must see. So really they are scoring a chamber ppv main event that legitimizes the show, and a sure fire crowd pleaser for night 1 at mania.

I just can’t help but feel shortchanged. The chair shot at the rumble was just…chefs kiss

What do you do with KO who's been tied into this since pretty much the beginning? I'd love to see Sami for the title, but I'm just as excited to see KO/Sami win the belts.

They've had Cody pencilled into this spot since his return, so I've learned to accept it.

Sami/KO vs Jimmy & Jey is the match. I think it will be the greatest tag match in the history of the company too, TLC included. This will be absolutely insane. I think it will be as big or bigger of a moment than Cody winning the title over Roman.

I'm going to emerge from my slumber in hopes of Sami bucking off Roman. I don't hate Joe Anoai the person. And I'm sure this Bloodline stuff is probably legitimately great heel work over the last few years. But by the time I was done, part time champs were the big thing to do and the guy with the laziest match dynamic I had ever seen (up to not applying even basic submission holds while spending half the match sleeping) gets pushed to the moon and Vince might as well be the pope thanking him for painting the Cistine Chapel. WWE basically ended for me in 2018. I can't reward Vince for being like this and Joe can only do his job.

I burned out on him the same way I burned out on HHH in my Attitude Era watch through but unlike the Attitude Era, nothing else made the product watchable. That said I'm buying in to the guy I fell in love with long ago making history at home. For the love of God man.... when is the last time someone was this genuinely over? Daniel Bryan maybe? Do the right thing. Make Roman lose on Sunday and have Sami retain at Mania while Cody wins too.

Or maybe I'm wrong because I have only glanced, felt hope and assumed what was happening

I have to imagine that if Sami doesn't find his way into the title match, he will still be involved in the finish helping Cody hold off Solo and Jimmy with KO.

I am also like 1000% convinced that Jey needs to turn on Roman and cost him the belts against Cody. Would be another place where Sami will be heavily involved in the build trying to save Jey and get him to finally break free.

That tag match is going to have so many layers to it. Sami is going to have conflicting feelings of betrayal, especially with Jey, but also pity because he knows how manipulated Jey is in the Bloodline.

It's not going to just be a simple revenge story, or even a story about the Bloodline finally breaking up, but an attempt to redeem and free The Usos, Jey in particular, from Roman.

Which brings the entire Bloodline saga full circle as it started with Roman mentally breaking Jey down

It's great to see how entertaining Dom and Rhea have been....and although Rey is made to look really bad and cowardly in these segments, I'm sure he's absolutely loving it as he's putting his son over big time.

There's so many ways they can go with this.

My preference is still to have Sami involved in the main event. Make it a triple threat match. It's what fans would most want to see. Build up two epic feuds (Cody/Reigns, Sami/Reigns) in parallel. Maybe make it 2 falls for 2 separate titles, or winner takes all. I don't even care if Cody wins - I don't think Sami has to win - but ignoring Sami altogether would feel very deflating after months of such great storytelling.

But yes so many layers to the story, and so many different interesting directions it could take:

Jey could turn on Roman and cost him everything
Sami could show up in the main event and cost Reigns the title (assuming it's 1 on 1 Reigns vs Cody)
Jey could turn on Sami...or he could do so at EC, but then "re-turn" in favor of Sami by mania
All of the Bloodline can turn on Reigns and anoint Sami (or Jey) as leader, making Reigns a tweener/face bent on revenge
etc.

I hope they have something creative for Wrestlemania. I hope they don't go with what most people consider the most likely outcome, which would be:

- Jey costs Sami at EC, setting up USO's vs Sami/KO at mania for tag titles
- Cody vs Reigns remains 1vs1, with no Sami or Jey turning/involved

WWE kept pushing Roman over and over to the moon until they finally just went and got it over with in his ridiculously long reign as champion. It's what they wanted to do but they refused to turn him heel all that time and mucked up years of viewership for it. They always wanted him to be God. And we've reached what appears to be a logical conclusion to it. Why cook all this up to throw it away for tag titles? The WWF won the Monday night wars because it kept giving the fans what they wanted no matter how absurd it was. Remember Austin using McMahon's own hand (while unconscious) to win his own title? It was nonsense but people ate it up.

No one has been this over since Bryan. Just give him the belt. I haven't watched in like 5 years and even ***I*** felt the earthquake of Sami's chair shot. If Roman's gotta go down like Caesar taking 23 stabs with every Bloodline member interfering and even something as ridiculous Undertaker getting involved and hauling him away as if to take Roman's soul (whatever makes Sami win) in order to keep Roman as the single greatest name in the history of ever just f***ing do it. Rey winning it all on the back of Eddie's death was a "You can do it" moment for the little guy we wanted. But it was not necessarily the moment we were waiting for.

Sami winning it all **IS** the "you can do it" moment we've been waiting for

Just give the fans what they want already
