Dwayne calling himself the final boss has me curious about what’s going on, but they’re so heavy-handed about how Cody has to win

100%

It’s more Rock vs Cody than Roman vs Cody at this point.
They're really leaning into The Rock vs Cody stuff, probably an attempt to distract from The Rock swerve that we're all expecting at WM. Regardless, this has been the best WM buildup in ages.

That would be even worse
Nah, it's been The Rock's plan all along. He's the real head of the table and he's about to make Roman regret saying he is. I've seen several people posting this scenario all over the internet and when it happens, the pop will be huge.

The pop is supposed to be for Cody winning, not Dwayne turning on Roman. This is 3 1/2 years of build.

The match versus Roman will be overbooked like hell, think of the match in Puerto Rico, and I'm here for it. Roman's going to get his comeuppance in a major way (Avengers: Endgame Portals scene type) and The Rock turning on him will be just one of the things happening. The culmination will be Cody pinning Roman.

As I said, that's just one of the things happening in the match.

If Dwayne turns, that’s going to get picked up the next day and put in the headlines. He’s going to do his own single with Cody and I imagine with Seth now, too, so it’s making less sense that he turns on Roman now. If you’re putting Cody over as the top star of the company, then put him all the way over and win clean. You can do whatever you want after that.

This whole story the company has been telling is the Bloodline, Cody finishing his story is just one part in how the end of it begins. They’re gonna have a whole year to do a turn.

Cody & Seth will lose tag match vs Rock and Roman so the match with Cody & Roman will be Bloodline rules aka no DQ which already guarantees shenanigans. It will be overbooked like hell OUTSIDE the ring.

I know he's the greatest wrestler on the mic ever, but man the gap between some of the all-time greats and the top guys now is WIDE. Reigns is a complete afterthought in this buildup, and Seth doesn't even belong in the same ring as The Rock (mic wise). To say The Rock is carrying this lead-up to WrestleMania is still not giving it enough justice.

Also, sidenote, but The Bloodline, for a "top" faction, has to be one of the worst of all-time. Two midcard tag teamers (one now), an "enforcer" who's not terribly believable as one, and then Reigns.

Admittedly I watch far less of this stuff than I used to but the last time I feel like they were able to produce a moment that really felt special was when the Wyatt Family and Shield first really squared off. Can't believe that was TEN years ago.
