Rock having a run-in with Austin Theory at the start of the show and Cena going on the Grayson Waller show later. Waller and Theory are friends...

Come on, this can't be a coincidence. Can't have Cena and Rock in the same building and not have them do something together. This has to happen

I think the real question is do we get a Rock / Roman interaction to set up Wrestlemania? Rock said on Pats show today he was open to Philly and it almost went down at 39

The broadcast team basically no-sold Rock and Cena being on the same show, which is kind of an enormous deal to have them both here. Also, Rock didn't hit the rock bottom on Theory. He's gotta be saving that for later.

f***ing knew he'd come back because of the strike. question is can he still go or will his ridiculous size just lead to a brutal injury

Nah, he is WAY too big. And you can tell he gets f***ing gassed immediately, too. He is all power, zero stamina at this point in his life.

I would have major concerns about him getting into a ring to work a match.

A Lashley vs Rey match would be fun. I don't think they've faced one-on-one before. Google search brings up a handicap match with Dominik.

The Rock was already in Boulder, CO for the Pat McAfee show on Friday along with being the guest picker today for College Gameday.

i doubt this is a one time thing, but you could be right
I doubt he's committed to anything and is likely playing it by ear to see what happens with the strike.

Probably training his ass off in the mean time, though. If for no other reason than boredom.

Yeah, worst case scenarios are predicting both strikes to go until January. If something happens in the WGA & studios negotiations next week, and things start moving towards a solution, then it's estimated SAG could follow soon after. So banking on The Rock being available around Mania time, is not smart. I haven't looked at his IMDB page but I would imagine he's got projects lined up that would be in production right now.
