If you were to continue that list I would put Draganov as number 5 and maybe Seth at 6.

And obviously you don't have to agree, but I don't think current Omega is number 1 right now. He is still amazing, but I feel his injuries have caught up to him a bit. I would put Osperey and Walter above him IMO

Osprey
WALTER
Omega
Bryan
Dragnov

As far as personal taste though, WALTER is my number 1. I just love his style of wrestling over anyone else going. He has Bret Hart levels of ring psychology while also hitting like an absolute truck. I just love it.

I recently rewatched his two matches with Dragunov and good lord did they beat the ever living shit out of each. Rare wrestling matches that looked like a real fight

I think Okada deserves a spot up there as well, but that top 5 (with Seth in there too) is hard to argue. Some fantastic talents.

They’re definitely starting to really go for it with LA Knight. My thing is, what’s his ceiling on Smackdown? I can’t see him being the champ as long as that dork Cody is around.

My guess is they will eventually move him over to RAW to challenge for either the IC belt or the WHC.

Yeah, my list wasn't in order, just who I think the big 4 are right now. Though, Omega is my favorite and one of my favorites of the last 20 years, It's hard to argue Walter not being #1. He's f***ing incredible.

I'd probably put Dragunov in that mix too for sure.

He really should be the Rumble winner next year and then win the WHC title at Mania.

Cody can win EC, it's time for world champ WALTER

I hope to God the plan isn't for Cody to take the belt off of Gunther
I would assume "Smackdown will eventually be compensated" means Cody's days on RAW are numbered. But they could just go the Rumble route for him.

Though it is funny that everybody thinks Cody has to take the belt off Roman at Wrestlemania. I get that Roman losing is a Mania moment, but honestly for Cody's story, winning it in MSG makes more sense... Of course, I dunno that they even have a show booked there in the near future.

Where Cody is placed in the company hierarchy and just how WWE likes to do their biggest moments, Cody is winning at a Mania, not at a RAW or SD at MSG.

Basic business sense too. You do your biggest payoffs in front of the largest crowd possible at big shows

I was more thinking if they had a PPV in MSG.

But, the counterpoint to that would be that WWE makes an absurd amount of their revenue from their TV contracts. So, with both deals ending in 2024, establishing with your audience that moments that big can happen on the weekly shows encourages live weekly viewership. Growing your week-to-week audience going into the negotiations would not be a bad thing at all.

Tonight's RAW show will be the last WWE show ever under McMahon ownership. September 11th 2023 will mark the end of a 70 year stretch that a McMahon will have total majority control of the WWE. Endeavor's deal to Purchase the WWE and to merge it with the UFC to form TKO is expected to happen tomorrow.
