I'd argue this match is the biggest wrestling match in at least the past 10 years, maybe longer. You get that feeling of anticipating something incredible happening.

Truth is, I rarely drop money on WWE PPVs. Last year I bought WM Night 1 because of Austin.

But I bought the Rumble this year specifically to see where the Bloodline story was going. And I'm buying Elimination Chamber tonight solely on the Zayn vs. Reigns match.

WWE has a chance to do something special here. It just depends on what special happens to be.

That was the best homecoming since Punk at the Chicago MITB.

Demain soir tu es chez moins Tabarnak. Sami is a beauty

It has been a fun ride and maybe something memorable will happen at Mania however I would be flabbergasted if Sami won tonight. I may even mark out if it happened, it would be crazy. I can't imagine a scenario in which Roman loses the PLE before Mania after the run he has had. It would be a good swerve to the doubters that can't imagine it happening however for those going with their heart instead of their head the more surprising outcome is a Sami loss which is the more likely scenario. It's sad most of us see the same thing happening, some Bloodline interference, Sami loses, KO makes the post match save, it sets up Sami/KO for the tag titles. The only potential swerve would be if there is a stipulation added where if Sami and KO win the tag titles on night one of Mania then Sami is added to the Rhodes/Reigns match on night two.

This will be the first non-Mania or non-Rumble PPV I'll watch in full since Summerslam 2021. It'll be the first non-big 4 PPV I watch in full in several years probably - I can't even remember the last one. Every natch has at least some appeal to it.

Did smackdown cut out some of sami's ovation?

I think they did that before when hogan came to Montreal for a SD in the early 2000s. The crowd apparently went on for about 10 minutes but tv had to shorten it.

Some of it got muted because the crowd was cussing, but all of it was visible.

Fox is on network TV, they get hit with fines if they didn't cut the audio

I was watching the canadian feed and the cussing was clearly audible.

I mean, it's still the fox presentation but I guess there's some still nuances to both broadcasts.

I remember in the attitude era, the Canadian feed would cut away from the action if a woman was taking a bump from a guy.

They had no problem with showing sable powerbomb Marc mero though, lol
