Things could have been so much different/better if not for these damn injuries. Cena, Rollins, Cesaro, Orton all out plus Daniel Bryan and Sting. Ah well, I'll still watch Mania because it's Mania but hope they can pull off a decent enough show all things considered.

Both his matches with the shield and bryan were perfectly fine. I don't know what matches you're talking about.

His match with a 50+ year old sting was bad? Well, big shocker there.

The other guys carried him in your examples.
The match with Sting shows that he alone cannot carry a match anymore...
And we all know Reigns needs a lot of help in order to put up a good match.
Why do you continue to think that this is a good idea for a main event?

Because Bray or KO going over Brock creates a NEW STAR that all the fans will like. How can you not understand this?

This is really really simple.

Oh brock needs the title to put someone over right? He can't just fight bray at wrelstmania normally like he's clearly going to? What was i thinking.

How so?

Trips was going over tonight from the start. He was getting face pops all night so he couldnt eliminate Regins so they threw Ambrose in there. It was booked perfectly. Reigns looked strong and still has plenty of time to win over more fans for his moment.

Are they trying too hard to push Reigns? Sure they are. But, if going over possibly the biggest name heel they have left at the moment doesnt help him, its time they move in another direction. They have invested way too much time and money into Romans character. What they need to do is find something, anything, to get the crowd behind him.

Honestly, they need to take a different approach. Turn the guy into just an average guy who doesnt really care about wrestling history instead of the Austin VS the machine character they have been redoing with every hot face and im sure the results would change. The anti establishment under dog has lost its shine.

Do you think they want HHH to get cheered and Reigns to get booed? Do you think that's what they want to hear?

You wanna show me where i specifically said this will be a good main event or even that i think it will be the main event? I'll wait.

You are insanely off on this one. Lesnar is a freak of nature human that only comes around once in a lifetime. That guy could probably kill every single WWE wrestler right now.

Boy... you really are just looking to fight the fight at this point. The Rumble was a fantastic PPV but fans everywhere have the right to be so bothered by the predictable ending because it's absurdly forced. HHH wrestles once every... year. He shouldn't be main eventing WM at this point. HHH vs. Reigns was a great co-main event, not THE main event.

Lesnar vs. Wyatt (c)
HHH vs. Reigns (grudge match to END the Authority)
Balor vs. Taker
Dean Ambrose(c) vs. Owens vs. Zayn vs. AJ Styles - IC Ladder Match or just fatal four

There is new stuff to try out and work. HHH is literally main eventing Wrestlemania. Then he's going to re-form DX, too.

Exactly. They could of created new stars, but HHH (who had a schmoz fest with Sting a year ago) has the title and is main eventing with Roman who has had a rocket over a year now and NO ONE wants it.

They have so many guys ready to main event. Dean, KO, Bray, and Brock who is a legit freak to put one of them over.

Yet they go with what we knew was the predictable result. People are right to be pissed because this is the main event picture and its a ****ing mess.

You can't run with a good mid card when the main event is a disaster.

I understand this argument. I just feel after the Edge neck problems a few years back, the WWE is now a lot more strict with neck and head injuries.

WWE is still making plenty of money off Bryan as well. It's not like they don't want to keep him around in some other capacity either. He might have to go AWOL to get released and continue wrestling elsewhere.

And, in this case, I feel like WWE is doing the right thing.

WrestleMania is looking fantastic!

HHH (c) vs Reigns
Brock vs Wyatt
Owens vs Sami vs Styles vs Ambrose (c)
Taker vs ????
Kalisto (c) vs ????
New Day (c) vs ???? (vs ????) (vs ????)
Charlotte (vs) vs Sasha (vs Becky)

With all the injuries, WWE is doing a great job keeping things interesting. I'm excited for fastlane as well! For all we know, everything can change there!

What if Reigns screws HHH out of the title to set up their match?

We don't know!

Yes, there were acutally people who thought/hoped that others would win. But the overwhelming majority thought it was Reign/HHH. Just look at the spoiler thread.

Boy, you're really going off the handle here. Relax a bit.

Brock and Bray had a whopping 1 less vote to winning than reigns did. Yeah "overwhelming majority" you got it.

I'm perfectly fine. I just find these one-sided posts hilarious.

Its ****ing better then HHH who legit can't wrestle solid matches anymore and isn't over anymore.

Seriously how can you defend HHH in 2016 as the WHC champ? I'm a Taker mark and its just as bad if he came out at 30 and did it.

Why not just have HHH vs The Undertaker for the WWE title as the main event of WM

Ah hell no.

Truthfully, there's no combination of matches they could realistically book that will sell 100,000 seats. They have no star power and many of the stars they do have are injured/retired/stale.

Where did I say that?

The rumble was booked perfectly. Reigns looked strong and is going over Trips at WM. If they dont tweek his characted your gonna hear Trips get face pops no matter what.

I do agree that the matches are solid. However, you have to look at booking. Wrestlemania 25 is looked at as a terrible WM, but IMO it would be a top half WM if the matches were placed at a different time. IF Taker/HBK goes on last, people are left with THAT image and moment as the fireworks go off. That instantly becomes a classic WM even though the matches never actually changed.

Underestimating match placement is easy to do.
