Alright well I'm cool with that. Because if this was just some brilliant scheme to keep KO on Raw but get the US title on SDL and meanwhile SDL gets the soon-to-be-departed Jericho (if the rumors were to be believed) then I'd have been furious.

This is literally the first time in over a dozen years that Smackdown! has had actual depth at the midcard level and the potential for a great show is better with KO on it.
