The thing about the beef match is, if Strowman was supposed to be pushed. How did tonight help that at all? Really the only Wyatt that got protected was Bray because he didn't wrestle (and why Dave thinks Brock/Bray is still on).

That's a good question but then you'd have to ask why did they build those three guys (Kane/Show/Ryback) like they're titans of the business and have an abnormally long, at least to me, promo leading into the match. There were all sorts of questionable things with that program. The other reason I couldn't see them bumping that to the preshow is because they main evented the go-home Raw. Although that too was just out of necessity because of the Kane thing, it sort of forces their hand with them being on the card and not the preshow.

I mean now that its done. It looks like pure filler because its safe to assume Bray and company move on to a new feud (most likely Brock sadly). The other three in the battle royal.

It was just a waste of time.

That was the most I was looking forward to a PPV in a long time because of the potential. Now it's the most upset I've been in a long time. But that's my fault for thinking WWE wouldn't drop the ball.

I'm guessing Bray comes out tomorrow and does some sort of bit about leading by example and he'll take down the biggest titan of all etc etc.

It was pure filler once they announced Bray was sitting ringside. lol

Bray is the only one that even remotely comes close to being a draw in that program.

This is why my expectations are mostly zero when it comes to WWE PPVs these days.

It was a solid sell, but there was just so much wrong with that match its hard to be positive. Their timing felt so off, and god burying the Styles Clash why?

"Burying" the Styles Clash? Lol, not even close. It's not ideal to book someone to kick out of it but burying? That word is thrown around so loosely.

I was fine with Jericho kicking out of the clash. I was shocked but wasn't angry. I'm not really a fan of AJ's submission but the crowd was hot for the tap out

First time on WWE PPV, so most eyeballs in theory seeing his finisher (if it is anymore, it might just be a lead in move now) and it got a kick out.

That is the exact opposite of protecting a finisher.

Edit: Look at how protected the Red Arrow is, and that is why I think they buried the Clash. IDK if its because they don't want him using it much, or they think its better to use the ankle lock as his proper finisher in WWE to be different. IDK but the Clash doesn't look like a strong finisher in WWE right now.

Moved to cageside. Geno HATED the main event finish but he liked the match to start.

Right on the pissing on Roman no selling those chair shots. And they spent a month making us feel like we could get a different finish by pushing Dean, and then LOLRoman

After seeing how predictable the show was and some of the questionable things done, they probably should've pulled the trigger on Brie winning the Divas title just so that there was SOMETHING.

That would of been awful, but in hindsight it would of been SOMETHING.

Cageside Geno is making the strong point that they spent the last month building a story of Dean/Brock and then Roman wins out of no where (in the match. We knew it was coming before the match) and its ******** because literally no one wants this.

Also one take is HHH vs Vince is happening behind the scenes and HHH is fine with them booing Roman and the WWE product and coming out as a babyface champ because smarks will love him for Takeover and for facing Roman.

Edit: Their evidense is right after the PPV that is getting **** on. HHH is standing in a pic shaking hands with Nakamura.

The finish was terrible. The match was great, but damn was that finish terrible. Sell a little. You were just locked in a kimura lock for 30 seconds and hit with a steel chair 3-5 times. SELL. It's crazy. I knew Roman was winning. I didn't expect much from the show. It's why I'm at least able to tolerate it and not go crazy in the aftermath, but the lack of selling from Roman Reigns in that finish was dumb.

I'm still so confused by the E&C segment. They were basically just their to plug their show. They didn't set up anything unless New Day vs LON is a thing now........

New Day was setting up a new team to challenge them when they were talking about how their better than "insert every tag team here" then boom! new debut of a hot new tag team comes out and we got ourselves a new rivalry
