Vrana hasn't played in forever, and it's unlikely he would get a sweater soon. With Milano inching towards returning and the possibility of an addition at the TDL, this isn't shocking. Still a bummer.

Man, I get it, but this still hurts. He can clearly still fly and score. Dude is scoring at a 22 goal pace in a limited role this season but just can't seem to figure out his defensive game. Hope he gets picked up by someone and given regular minutes with quality linemates.

This has everything to do with his flaws as a player on the ice that have been with him every step of the way through juniors. Nothing about "demons" -- which he absolutely did take seriously -- or what he's like off the ice at all

I've literally talked to a media member of Grand Rapids about this. (No I'm not naming them, if you don't believe it I don't care) He got sent down and promptly shipped out because he was pissed about being sent to PAP in the first place and didn't take it seriously at all.

His defense sucks... It's not the only reason he washes out of every organization he's in.

Some team I don’t dislike please claim him. He’s still a good and useful player, especially if you need some offense… defensive specialist, he is not. Guy still has blazing speed and a wicked shot.

He did for Wings and Blues. Flamed out both times after a hot start. He was never really bad on the Caps though, even this season in limited role he was producing. I think that if the roster was not as deep this year he would get a sweater more often. I really hope he finds a real opportunity somewhere else.

Actually I would say Vrana's issues started in his first stint with Washington.

While he finally may he cleaned himself up, he is a fringe guy now.
