I remember when I would plan (and fail) trips to go to Wrestlemania. Now I simply don't care. I know about the experience and all that, but still...

Ahhh, I wish I was going again, but i'll be going to Mexico in February, and likely UFC 200 in Vegas. Can't afford to make it this year.

If anyone hasn't been to a Mania before and you have an opportunity to go, GO. (I've only been to one, which was WM 30) and the atmosphere was amazing in New Orleans.

That Texas Star package looks insane...

The moment Mania gets announced for New Orleans again, i'll book my flight that day. Probably won't be for another 2-3 years though.

At this point, it's an easy pass for me. Until I see DB return and on the card, I'm not even thinking about going.

Bring them air mattresses bro. lol

Not even DB could make me want to spend thousands on the WWE product at this point. It's just so bad.

Tempted to get two silver packages and go with the wifey. All about finding a babysitter for a few days and how much flight costs.

I feel bad enough as is for giving WWE money for 2k16 with how bad the product has been. No way i'd consider what they're asking for Rock vs Triple H XLVII if that's the way it goes.

My draw is granted a bit extreme but I can see ways to justify the purchase with the Raw after always being good save for the final hour last year. NXT show is awesome. Axxess is alright but too many people. Hall of Fame is always good to me. If I kept it to like maybe 1k per then I could see it but not likely without DB for me since I'd actually have to fly there.

I did a price breakdown of my Mania trip for WM30 and it was fairly decent.

Flights to NOLA were the big price tag:

Flights from YK =$900-950

Hotel = $400 each from Thursday-Wednesday (4 guys in a suite)

Mania Tickets = $250 (Risers section 139 by the stage)

Raw Tickets = I think we paid $100 because we missed pre-sale and had to scrounge stub hub. Regular price for our ticket was $50.

HOF Tickets = $12 (We scored them cheap, but sat in the nosebleeds) - Wasn't really an issue because we could see the screen, though, it cut out a bunch of times.

Axxess = $50 bucks, met Ryback and Seth Rollins.

ROH Supercard of Honor tickets = $25 bucks, met Maria & Matt Hardy, got photos with both which was pretty cool.

We were around $1800 for our trip with the stuff we took in, I probably spent $500 on liquor and food at the very least though. I was torched every day for basically a week.

I found last years seating chart/pricing... It obviously won't be the exact same, but within the ballpark for sure.

For Mania, they're reasonably priced for the areas but you have to make a guess on sightlines and put it up against what you prefer for such events. I sat on the floor risers for 31 on the near side of the entrance ramp. They were around 470 bucks each, I think. Good area but still a fair distance from the ring with a little obstruction from the stage setup. I think though if you're flying into the area for the event, you have to justify the trip with everything else over Mania itself. Mania itself is essentially an e-peen thing at this point but the real enjoyment is the other events, the atmosphere, and the partying you can do in the local areas. Mania will never live up to expectations and the price tag on its own but everything else, especially things like the NXT show, can make up the difference.

So far for Wrestlemania 32, I've spent:

$400 (CAD) flight from Montreal to Dallas
$400 (CAD) for a rented house on AirBNB from Thursday to Monday.

I expect to pay about $150-200 (USD) for tickets. Should be fun.

Bored this morning, having some fun. I think this is the direction WWE could realistically head after last night.

This is really hard as WWE has only fit 7 to 8 matches on the main show the past several years. I built this with the assumption that Daniel Bryan will still be on the shelf. I also really wanted to get Finn Balor on but I think they're going to save him until the night after Mania.

Matches are in show order from bottom-up. Below the dotted line is pre-show. Winners italicized. Undertaker match is determent on if he doesn't retire at Survivor Series, if he does - I have no clue what to do with John Cena.

WWE World Heavyweight Championship Match
Seth Rollins (c) vs. Roman Reigns vs. Dean Ambrose

No Holds Barred Match
Brock Lesnar vs. Kevin Owens

The Undertaker vs. John Cena

WWE Divas Championship Match
Paige (c) vs. Sasha Banks vs. Charlotte vs. Nikki Bella

Triple H vs. The Rock

Bray Wyatt vs. Randy Orton

WWE Tag Team Championship TLC Match
The Dudley Boyz (c) vs. The Wyatt Family (Harper/Strowman)

WWE United States Championship Match
Sheamus (c) vs. Alberto Del Rio vs. Rusev vs. Cesaro

---

André the Giant Memorial Battle Royal

WWE Intercontinental Championship Match
Tyler Breeze (c) vs. Sami Zayn

Are you going with some buddies? Renting a house is actually a solid idea.

Bray Wyatt vs. Randy Orton

While I feel this could really expose how boring Orton can be (and possibly highlight how Wyatt is the best thing in the company)....and I'd prefer Bray to be doing...bigger things...I'm still okay with this. Orton is probably one of the only main eventers who would lose to Wyatt.

My reasoning is that they've had so many run-ins lately but never a real feud and now with Orton on the shelf, he could return to build this into a WM-calibre feud. Plus Wyatt can easily go over Orton with big gains to him and no real loss to Orton.

You didn't know? Wyatt is the anti-Undertaker. He's not allowed to win at Wrestlemania until he's 0-21.
