High danger chances were 17-9 for the Oilers and expected goals were 4.8 to 1.8 for the Oilers.Higher danger chances were 7 to 6 for the Oilers.
Not sure if that includes posts though.

You’re reading that backwards, Edmonton had 6, Canucks had 1And they had 1 high danger chance in the third, Canucks sat back but did a good job defending.
Not to mention that Ian Cole has been the Oilers best goal scorer this series
Well Canucks arr without 2 key players, Demko and Pettersson. They are still beating the Oilers.Pretty sure you can say that about every team.
They get any goaltending at all they could be tough combined with that powerplay.Need to manage players mins better though. It is a joke that TSN hyped Oilers as a contender. Hilarious. You take two key players off that team and you`ll see lottery team.
yeah, this argument has been used for years. "Your team wouldn't be as good as our team if you didn't have Luongo...!" Etc...Last I checked the goalie is part of the team.
I thought Kane and Perry were supposed to terrorize Hughes though...
They've been division rivals forever, there's always been a rivalry.
You guys wanted to cover your bases -- either help the Canucks or help Dallas re-live the late 90s vs. Dallas. It's like a double Reinhart. I get it.Shame we couldn't get you Tanev as well.
And he was a hell of a lot better than Skinner was. What’d he have, a .750?Is Skinner really to blame tonight? I mean we legit have a AHL goal tender so there is that.
EP's continued disappearing act is seriously concerning. They are winning without him, but that does not seem sustainable at all.Well Canucks arr without 2 key players, Demko and Pettersson. They are still beating the Oilers.
Better team? Canucks won, and deserved it. Better team better depth, played thru the lineup and didnt rely on 2 star forwards. Maybe works for Edmonton sometimes, but failed again tonight. Will they find a smarter strategy for the rest of the series or do they continue this pattern and bow out, once again? Big decisions for the Edmonton coaching crew on how to move forward here down in the series 2 games to 1.With average AHL goaltending Edmonton’s up 2-1, don’t kid yourself. Shots were 36-7 oilers after the first. Silovs did an incredible job but the Canucks weren’t the better team tonight.
On what blue planet did Oilers generate 17 high danger chances that game? Most of their shots were from the goal line lol.High danger chances were 17-9 for the Oilers and expected goals were 4.8 to 1.8 for the Oilers.
Kane and old man Perry couldnt terrorize a kittenI thought Kane and Perry were supposed to terrorize Hughes though...
If you include all strengths, 5 on 5 was 7-6High danger chances were 17-9 for the Oilers and expected goals were 4.8 to 1.8 for the Oilers.
I'm not sure what the route is for him. He is good enough to back up Demko. But they might want to get him regular gameplay. AHL would be good to get him ready for a full schedule and define his game. Could also save money letting DeSmith walk . I'm honestly not sure .I will be shocked if Silovs ever plays another AHL game
True, but Canucks fans had nothing to hate as of late other than Benning. They've been division rivals forever, there's always been a rivalry.
7-6 for 5on5, where most of the game is playedHigh danger chances were 17-9 for the Oilers and expected goals were 4.8 to 1.8 for the Oilers.
Or he'll be too tired he won't be able to leave anywhere.Oilers organization will drive him out of Edmonton. He wont have any energy left but keep playing him 40 minutes a game Edmonton.

Where are you getting your stats?
