WPG 4 : LAK 3 - So... 2nd place? 2nd place is good, right?

Awful choke. We could've had a good chance if Muzzin hadn't of taken that ******** penalty in OT. I'm sure the Ducks will lambast the Caps now.
 
Kings just quit once they clinched. Could take until the third game of the playoffs for them to get their game back. Not sure if they can win 4 of 5 against the Sharks again.

That 'penalty' didn't look like much, suprised the ref called it in ot.
 
This team is in trouble.Blows a three goal lead to lose the division. Stick a fork in this team.Wish I was wrong.

I think most of us predicted this would happen, but the HOW was disgusting.

Most pissed of all at Doughty, good time for his dumbest, by far worst, game of the season.

Better get heads straight for the playoffs.
 
Eh, I knew they wouldn't lose in overtime. Also knew they would lose in the shootout if it got to that. Silly me, thinking the 3-0 lead was probably safe.

Well, it's not boring being a Kings fan.

Versteeg returning has added some balance, at least. We're finally seeing some secondary scoring.

Credit to Winnipeg for showing California who's boss this week.
 
Also, would love to go back through the games and see how many games we got zero powerplays or a fraction of one powerplay. ****ing appalling. And to have the balls to call that in OT...gross.

The gap in possession we have between 1st and 2nd is the same as the gap between 2nd and 17th. Yet we have the third worst penalty differential.

And Lewis got away with a high stick (with blood) and there was an obvious trip on a Jet for our first goal. The refs completely sucked for both teams tonight.
 
So now need help to win the Division.
Need help to win the Jennings, as in 4 scored against Washington and 3 on Anaheim.
Also not getting the win means we don't have home ice vs 3 of the Central teams not just 2.

So overall a crappy night.
