Where is the "Not Sure If Serious" option.
I know I'm not suppose to(especially a mod) but I had to fix your post.
The question is irrelevant, in that it takes 2 to tango..
Since Boston resigned Patrice Bergeron and traded Phil Kessel we already know which player they value most.. Since then they went on to win the Stanley Cup validating their decision, so they would not make this 1-1 trade, so even if the Leafs would want to, it becomes an non issue.
Bergeron is considered one of the best 2 way players in the game today. His +36 +/- ranked him #1 in the NHL overall last year.. Since strong defense wins championships and championships is the ultimate goal of every team, Bergeron would be hard to extract from Boston by most teams, not only the Leafs never mind the price of acquisition it would take. Besides in Boston its players are required to focus and play both ends of the ice effectively.
I wouldn't be surprised with a Kessel for Bobby Ryan trade.. if a trade were to take place.

Nothing against Patrice Bergeron's talent, but you can't trade Kessel for an injury prone softy.
