Its definitely a no to the OP.So I think it's a no to the OP
Did it in twelve fewer games so not really tied. But when he did it, it was historic. There’s no logical reason to say otherwise. Ten has been a standard for sports since its inception. Not the only one but certainly one. You’ve still yet to make a coherent argument for your position and against mine. Just being contrarian for the sake of it isn’t being rational.Jeff Skinner is tied for top-10. He's historic! History!!!
Why stop at top-10 or 11? Why not Top50?
Or why not top-5? Or Top-4 like Mr. Calder himself!
Lane had a great season. Some might call it historic. I'm like meh. Until he gets us a 24th cup, i'm satisfied with his great season. I don't need to grasp at straws or pretend it was more than it really was, like Sharks fans.![]()

The answer is so obviously a yes that to try and argue otherwise is either extremely ignorant or bad faith. You can pretend to be better because of championships you didn’t win but it’s just more thoughtless grasping for straws.Ten is a standard for sports? LOL
I guess i have higher standards than you. For example, 20 cups is a measure of historic accomplishment.
How many do the Sharks have?
Celebrini is not dominating anything at the World's. Glad most of the Habs took the time off to be 100% for next season. While Celebrini is dominating for Team Canada at the World's, Lame Buston is dominating the Par 4 at the Royal Montreal Golf Club.
Why are you continuing to argue with a guy that’s worse than our resident trolls on the Sharks boards? Nothing Habs do can ever be wrong remember! The answer is so obviously a yes that to try and argue otherwise is either extremely ignorant or bad faith. You do realize Hutson already played in World Championships 2 years ago?Imagine not even being invited to the US World Championship roster despite being the supposed "Calder frontrunner" while the player you're comparing him to is carrying the top line for Team Canada.

Nope. They’ll take Misa or Schaefer (should the Isles elect to draft a C)
Mad Mike (and his shoe) aren’t around anymore for that decision. Plus there’s no fat kid that’s the owners son to hand the jersey off to the pick either. The Isles will probadly ( not a misspelling )take a goalie…again
Not sure if it’s a real word. If not I like it
I think the value is probably in line with what things will be like this offseason with the rising cap but I'm not sure if the Sharks will do that unless all their options fall through. If they end up drafting Misa, they could conceivably fast-track him to the NHL and do a forward grouping like...Habs offer Sharks 3rd rounder to take Laine contract?
This aged well. lolWhile Celebrini is dominating for Team Canada at the World's, Lame Buston is dominating the Par 4 at the Royal Montreal Golf Club.
This is not true at all. Celebrini put up a historic season for an 18 year old. Top ten all time actually. Your killing me smallsHow many 62+ pt dman have the Habs had the past 10 years? Here’s the answer: 2!!!
You have to be elite offensively to put up 62+ points. Its not normal.
Not that you would understand that…
As for Celebrini - his 63 points is fairly routine. I can name 6 SJ forwards who have accomplished that over the past 6 years…
Habs offer all 2025 picks and temporary Use of their scouting staff for the offseason. lolI’d f***in do it. Boom, make big moves, swing hard.
Seriously though, it’d be funny as hell if they dropped this proposal during the draft itself. Like, wtf man, no we have not scouted enough for that.
Saw the Faber mention, and it gave me pause(as he plays for my team). Very interesting proposal, for a team that has lacked an elite #1C forever. Risky for the Wild, not so much for SJS, especially given that they have Celebrini already.Absolutely not. Assuming Schaefer went #1 I’d consider moving Misa for an elite young dman like Faber, Seider, Sanderson, L. Hughes, Harley, or Dahlin, that’s pretty much it. Getting 3 good pieces and a bunch of lottery tickets doesn’t really catch my attention, especially with a top 10 protected pick.
Misa fits our forwards needs perfectly. We definitely need a top pairing dman or two, but we could use a future 1C/1W who compliments Smith nearly as much. Misa does so perfectly.
I do think there’s a chance we like Martone, and I trust Grier, but I really want Misa (just a slight bit less than Schaefer).
